Summary:
Mitth’raw’nuruodo, a Chiss Imperial Officer distant emotions with a cool reflective to lead his sector fleet in the Galactic Empire. His strategies and tactics work better when he is devoid of emotion, as taught by the Chiss Ascendancy House Nuruodo. He was exiled from his people as punishment for an outburst he had in Chiss Space. Or at least that is what is on the official record. Found on an undeveloped planet, the Galactic Empire embraced him and he rose through the Imperial ranks to a Grand Admiral. Life is lonely at the top. It bores him, the people, the slow pace, the loneliness. His personal studies in art and antiquities brought him creature-comfort joy. Then he met a young Rebel woman, a Mandalorian, an artist that excites his fascination in the galaxy and gives him room to breathe, creatively. A fiery passion ignites his desires. The Chiss thought the Ascendancy excise those genes from the gene pool through eugenics. Turns out his desires for community are not genetic. His desires expand and reverberate continuously in the Force.

It has been a tumultuous ~2 years for the #GetThrawnIn #StarWarsRebels campaign. We had many attacks by angry fans who felt they must control the creative concepts of Lucasfilm. Their process attacks them online through cyberharassment and bullying, as recent as Star Wars Celebration Europe toward a famous author (source).
We started out for social justice, but we learned about fine art and classical music.
We have over 90 images from Jackson Pollock’s string paintings to the recent Maria Kreyn’s “Alone Together” painting used in ABC’s “To Catch A Thief”.
Maria Kreyn’s “Alone Together”
We have built a 62 youtube playlist from classical music composers and artists that highlight story motifs that highlight essential part from all the Star Wars movies. Composers like Stravinsky and Holst. However, we have learned to love classics from Gustav Mahler and Rachmaninov.
The art and music components were for exposure to ask the question, what types of art and music would the character Thrawn see and hear to evaluate a culture. Based on our reading of both Timothy Zahn’s Heir to the Empire and Chuck Wendig’s Aftermath, we discover that Thrawn chose a variety of art pieces to evaluation, most were holographic scupltures. But he had a fine appreciation for color that only 2-D paintings provide. As far as the music, he enjoy symphonies and orchestras. Strings instruments were fine, but it is never stated that within the movements of work he heard, what kind of instruments he had an affinity toward.
As far as interpretation of each piece, we did not make any. We wanted our audience to do it. Then, we discover they were woefully ignorant of fine art and classical music. Why choose those colors? Why that montage of sound? That is when we learned that Thrawn probably has synesthesia – he can see color in sound and numbers to music. He has a collection of senses that amplify when he interacts with art and music. It might be an activity of the Chiss, then again, it may just be a character trait of Thrawn and he applies his abilities with his war training and tactical strategy.
We also have an Arts and Crafts component with what we call, “Save The Ysalamiri“. These Star Wars Legends’ canon creatures, Ysalamiri, form Force Neutral bubbles in 10 meters in diameter that can stop Force Users from using their Force powers. These creatures, Ysalamiri, appear like pets of a cat-dog-iguana appearance and only lived on one planet, on an “endangered” tree. In Heir to the Empire, Thrawn discovered a way to remove Ysalamiri from their trees without killing them and use them to his advantage. In real life, we created sock puppets for family enjoyment.

Get Thrawn in Star Wars Rebels
The Get Thrawn In Star Wars Rebels Campaign was started by us, the Star Wars Actors Guild 77 because:
Here’s my proof of the bullying and there is more: https://swag77.com/2015/01/27/starwarsfansociopaths/
It killed my business, the Ariafya LLC and the Star Wars Actors Guild 77, and what my business stands for – reading the books, writing our stories and performing them on social media…
As an older Black female Star Wars fan who has had two fan tables at Star Wars Celebrations in 2012 and 2015, before Celebration, the attacks by “fans” were personal. Messages in my inbox and lies. And that is paltry compared to what these fools do to Star Wars fans who are women and diverse.
See, being a graduate of Spelman College in 1990 and have a Masters and Doctorate in molecular biology, with postdoctoral appointments and 5 published scientific articles in aging, diabetes and heart disease gives me real world experience with crafting a very complex idea and bringing it to fruition.
Moreover, working on Obamacare and creating an award winning health forum for diverse people in my city with funding from the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, also gives me real world experiences on how political campaigns work.
Because in my Freshman year in college I worked with Julian Bond campaign and marched against the Klu Klux Klan in Forsythe County Georgia to protest, — to assist in crafting Amnesty International’s stance against Apartheid in 1989, my REAL WORLD stories and experiences drove me to show these lunatic “fans” how to a villain character back into the canon of Star Wars through Disney. That is how GET THRAWN IN got started.
The premise is simple: Thrawn as a character is define as an “art lover” to defeat his opponents by analyzing their art. The brush strokes, the craft design, what tools were uses, materials, etc. Thrawn analyzes all of that.
Let’s take art from the “masters” – Monet, Van Gogh, Dali, and Jackson Pollack and let’s analyze it for fun. How would we defeat these people and the goal is to let Disney know our experiences. This part was called “Artful Thrawn”.
Then the wonderful book, Aftermath was released and at the very end, a character reminiscent of Thrawn spoke from listening to classical music. Let’s analyze classical music from the masters – Beethoven, Mozart, Holst and Stravinsky, and pretend we are like Thrawn and analyze it to defeat planets. The goals was to educate people about classical music and motifs that Star Wars uses. This part was called “Music Mondays” since the discussions took place on Mondays.
Concepts about Thrawn were discovered:
I’ve had fun with the campaign, I never heard anything from Disney Lucasfilm. Then a rumor is released and it is as if everyone rediscovered Thrawn and gets away with being a fan after all the bullying I endured just to make this happen. And do not say lack of knowledge, promotion can only go so far. What I did was one small fan that got tired of the whining by evil “fans” that bully others on social media and create lies. That was my passion and now they must witness my will.
Help me out so I will not be so alone in this positive Star Wars fandom campaign.

This year was hard for me to write 50,000 words for NaNoWriMo due to several personal issues that hit me hard this year.
Physically, I had to slow down. But for NaNoWriMo, I challenged myself to complete the story I wanted.
My story is a Star Wars fan fiction about Grand Admiral Thrawn (Mitth’raw’nuruodo) set in the Star Wars Rebels timeframe. It is a part of the #GetThrawnIn #StarWarsRebels campaign where we are petitioning Lucasfilm to add this Legends character back into the canon because he is awesome. You will understand my reasons when you read the story except.

There is also a short story for the Prequels: Star Wars The Clone Wars.
All my stories need major revisions, please be nice to me when you critique them.
The story excerpt below:
First world problems. The Star Wars Actors Guild 77 is a business first. That is how the owner wants it. That’s what we do. Our motivation is to be a Business to Business service to movie production companies and publishing houses before the first cut to film or print. We can test the efficacy of a creative idea by social media performance and entertainment which is proprietary.
Our revenue, as tiny as it is is driven from sales at the moment until we can get a better deal and be remunerated appropriately. But for now, we have to sell T-shirts at Redbubble to support our creative ventures.
One idea was the “Corellian Jedi” that is a part of the Star Wars Expanded Universe (SWEU) and is now no longer canon. TWO YEARS ago is was canon and we created 3 lines of T-shirts sold at our store for nominal costs.
TODAY the owner received this email from the distributor, Redbubble:
Reads in part:
We have removed the following content from Redbubble in response to past complaints from The Walt Disney Company, the claimed owner or licensee of related intellectual property and in accordance with Redbubble’s IP/Publicity Rights Policy:
Corellian Jedi creed: http://www.redbubble.com/works/show/9700653
For these images:
It is one thing to IMEDIATELY EXACT IP when an item is posted, but for it to be on a site for 2 years and say nothing until a big corporation who cares little about the fans is another issue. Meh, typical of Disney.
But more to the fact… Disney will be using the “Corellian Jedi” concept in an upcoming production… After this incident, there’s no doubt in our minds.

#StarWarsCelebration 2015 Commemorative Commercial for the #GetThrawnIn campaign.
The campaign is about getting Grand Admiral Thrawn, a formidable character in the Star Wars Expanded Universe back into the new canon, particularly Star Wars Rebels TV show.
We feel that he is a good character to add because most of Star Wars Rebels revolves around art and freedom of expression. As an antagonist and villain, Thrawn uses art to learn more about the species to conquer them.
His skin is blue and his entire eye (sclera) is red. His species are Chiss. They are the equivalent of “Vulcans” (loosely) from Star Trek, so this character would be a commemoration and memorial of the life lived by Leonard Nimoy.
The notable voice actor, Tom Kane donate his voice to give a beautiful and artful flavor of how we think Grand Admiral Thrawn would sound.
This campaign endorses positive fandom through compassionate communication. Our goal is to show through social media popularity, the economic efficacy, mutual benefit and ROI for adding this exquisite character.
What we need fans to do is to LIKE/FAVE/Thumbs up/+1 so that we have metrics that are quantifiable to give to the executives.
We feel that the executives that are met respectfully will meet the desires and needs of the Star Wars fans. We must have virality to this project for its success in the absence of confrontation.
Thank you for your support.
