In the book, STAR WARS THRAWN ALLIANCES, Darth Vader and Grand Admiral Thrawn go to the planet, BATUU to search for the Emperor’s disturbance in the Force. BATUU is on the outskirts of the area of the galaxy called THE UNKNOWN REGIONS – an area of galactic space that has not been mapped for hyperspace routes, all the species are not known to the core governments (i.e. The Galactic Empire) and has little trade with the known galaxy. It is where THRAWN or Mitth’raw’nuruodo’s people, the Chiss live in their space. It suggests that Chiss have been space-fairing beings for a long time and they do not travel beyond their space borders (due to xenophobia) until THRAWN.
So, Vader and Thrawn visit BATUU to search for this disturbance and are attacked by some kind of swarm of bug-like creatures that leave some kind of stone metal on their person to digest whatever can be digestible (somewhat like THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL in 2008)

THRAWN had heard of the Grysks and what they could do, but his demeanor is his usual calm, which often means he is calculating ways he could defeat them. VADER somewhat freaked out, but regained his composure. He hates sand and these Grysk bug swarm were like fighting with his lightsaber in sand.
Because of the type of combat that could disable Vader and Thrawn, some powerful fans who motivate millions have suggested that the Grysks are the YUUZHAN VONG.
The Yuuzhan Vong are an extra-galactic species that enter the Star Wars galaxy from the Unknown Regions and Invade and declare war on the Star Wars galaxy because the beings live side-by-side with droids that they religiously believe are abominations.
The Yuuzhan Vong are FORCE ABSENT so mind tricks and Force push do not work on their warriors. ALL of their technology are LIVING TECHNOLOGY called BIOTS. Their starships to their clothing are LIVING. They believe in a PANTHEON of gods and each god has a caste dedicated to them as they worship them. The caste of Yuuzhan Vong that is seen often in the fan pictures are of the WARRIOR CASTE because of their ferocity. They carry large serpents that turn into staffs and fight in a martial art they created (probably like Akido with some mix).

We feel that with GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE, RECYCLING, WASTE MANAGEMENT, DILAPIDATED INFRASTRUCTURES, DIRTY OCEANS, LOSS OF FRESH POTABLE WATER and LIFEFORM MASS EXTINCTIONS on the rise, the YUUZHAN VONG as fictional movie characters are uniquely positioned to examine such stories for relevancy and find solutions. The YUUZHAN VONG found a way to live thousands of years from their galaxy to the Star Wars galaxy with their BIOTS. Any fan can be inspired by science fiction movies, and one never knows who that is…
Based on our stories, our conversations and our programs we have put forth, WE ARE SAYING:
THE GRYSKS ARE NOT THE YUUZHAN VONG
The Grysks are too unorganized to be an existential threat. The Yuuzhan Vong by definition are existential threats.
The Grysks have no formal organized military. The Yuuzhan Vong have an entire caste dedicated to worshiping a god to drive their military. Strange weapons does not minimize their military readiness and capabilities. Underestimating them will cause planets to be eaten.
The Grysks use too much metal and trade with unsavory people. The Yuuzhan Vong HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE any metal object crafted by some being’s hand to rule over them. Be it droid or weapon or ruling cane. The only metals that are seen as good to them are COORDINATED…
Must say this, the Grysks may have learned some tactics from the CONFEDERACY OF INDEPENDENT SYSTEMS or SEPARATISTS while they were active in THE UNKNOWN REGIONS. It explains why their military abilities are so shabby.
IF…. The Separatists got too far into THE UNKNOWN REGIONS and the YUUZHAN VONG saw them, it would make the YUUZHAN VONG go crazy to fight with a fervor that is drunk on the religiosity as a crusade. The YUUZHAN VONG do not play that droid mess.
It explains SOME aspects of STAR WARS THRAWN: ALLIANCE — Thrawn steals SEPARATIST technology for use by the CHISS. If the YUUZHAN VONG randomly associated that concept, no wonder the CHISS feel attacked from out of nowhere.
IF SNOKE is an UMBARAN and some of his Force abilities are what UMBARANS have, which is TECHNOPATHY — the ability to change electronic technology in one’s favor — or access to computers and change programs as a “Force Hacker” — and he got flipped by the SEPARATISTS (because the UMBARANS did join the CIS for a moment — Star Wars The Clone Wars Season 4 – Darkness on Umbara) — then he went into The Unknown Regions (separate from the Chiss) to set up “shop” and got in the way with the YUUZHAN VONG plans…OH YES…IT’S ON!
SHEEV PALPATINE or DARTH SIDIOUS did a clusterfuck. As a Sith, he chose the violent pathway. He wanted to fight the YUUZHAN VONG and saw it as something to be easily DEALT WITH in the Empire. Perhaps the FIRST ORDER was doing the same. But doing away with the JEDI was the mistake.
In the Legends Canon (SWEU) Luke Skywalker figured out the YUUZHAN VONG and defeated them.
IF Disney decides to bring the YUUZHAN VONG back, they are left with very little to fight back. Which means there will be some retcon and some watering down (namely the religiosity). Because the Yuuzhan Vong would shape all the Force using characters to their whims and kill the rest. But, we don’t think that will ever happen. Hopefully, Disney does some kind of justice. But it is unlikely.
Just know the GRYSKS are NOT THE YUUZHAN VONG.

His mere presence strikes fear in the evil Empire’s enemies. He’s so powerful, he’s almost unstoppable and few have been better with a lightsaber or as mighty in the dark side of the Force. Think you can take him out in a starfighter? Think again. Never underestimate his power. He’s second only to the Emperor. He looks like a machine, but this is no droid. Underneath that menacing mask is a human being.
Darth Vader was once one of the good guys, one of the greatest of the heroic Jedi Knights. But Vader betrayed them and turned to the dark side of the Force, pledging loyalty to the evil Emperor and hunting down all the Jedi. Even those who had been his friends.
Obi-Wan Kenobi, his friend and former Master in the Jedi Order, stood up to Vader’s villainy and, after an epic duel, sent him tumbling into lava. From then on, to keep himself alive, he relied on his suit of armor and drew upon the dark side of the Force, fueled by rage and anger.
Uh….yeah… so it may not lead to much for most people (like me), but it’s better than me running naked down the street in 20 F degree weather in the rain-snow unable to get my ideas in my head out. Write fan fiction makes it feel all better when you don’t want to use heinous narcotics or hurt someone for real.
This is the best explanation I could come up with for why it takes me so long to do updates sometimes when, at other times, I’m typing them up like clockwork.

The above picture is Jedi Master Nejaa Halcyon, son of Keiran Halcyon. Nejaa has a son, who was not Force sensitive, but his grandson, was named “Corran Horn” who is a famous Star Wars Legends character in several books.
Darth Vader did kill the Corellian Jedi, but he did not identify all their children of the Force.
What is key here is roughly 1000 years earlier, the Corellian Jedi came to the main Jedi Council Coruscant to tell them the turn to the Dark Side. That is when the Corellian Jedi Thame Cerulian rejoined the Jedi Order on Coruscant and studied the ways of the Force to understand why there was this turn to the Dark Side. Master Cerulian trained Count Dooku as a child.
In scant paperwork, we wrote metas and headcanons to make this idea work for RP, it did not in our hands.
Since there is a new Darth Vader comic out, where he’s “Force Holding” the baby of Jedi Master Eeth Koth, it seems like one of the lost metas we had written 3-4 years ago proves to be true. It took a generation of Jedi to come to the realization that the Dark Side would overtake the galaxy, so in and of themselves, they secretively pursued an outreach to their futures and families.
Not everyone can separate their strong tie for self-sovereignty and autonomy. Most individuals feel strong about having a family of their own. It may be written in their DNA.
But the Jedi are to refrain of those desires through meditation and supplication. Always flowing with the Force…
It is different for Jedi – breeding, such as HAVING SEXUAL REPRODUCTION AND bearing the children (for mothers) and siring children (for fathers) detracts from what it means to be a Jedi in the Jedi Order.
You can’t be selfless to your own child, you must protect them as their parent. You cannot just WATCH while your family you love are harmed, you must fight for them, even in your own death.
There is also a problem of who you are having sex with, that boss-employee, or mentor-mentee is always rife with unethical problematic power positions. Yes, it happens, but it is still inappropriate in a democratic ethical society because there is always the question of consent, i.e. was it made without any clouded behavior from the Dark Side of the Force.
Relationships divide emotions always. So of course the Dark Side of the Force will use that to put a wedge between lovers, especially in a power dynamic.
The question really becomes: Are there any pair-bonds that are allowable for Light Sided Force users?
