It all started on Umbara, I started to see things differently, started questioning things. I asked the hard questions that no one either could or wanted to answer. Orders no longer made sense to me. The Jedi I served under were no longer the ones that ‘raised’ me. I was even questioning and arguing… no, defying Captain Rex… my brother.
I was changing… I was changed… but I still did not know why…
Whispered words… a voice in his mind… one that was not his own… it spoke to him as if over a vast distant cavern. It was a voice that he recognized, but did not, all at the same time. All that he truly knew was that it was the voice of evil… pure evil…
And it scared him…
