I heard “rumors” about this story growing up and going to Spelman College. The irony is I met them not knowing. Not thinking. Stupid me. But what’s worse is society downplayed these women and their abilities to make it happen and then hid it from the rest of us in the 1980s and 1990s. I guess in the 2010s and 2000teens this will rectify it.

Probably why I’m a Star Wars fan.
