ALERT ALL COMMANDS!
Uncle George needs YOUR help in getting a major art institution into the Presidio site in San Francisco! The Lucas Cultural Arts Museum will not only house The Maker’s extensive art collection, but it will also have a permanent cinematic arts gallery which will include Star Wars original art, models and costumes on a permanent basis. Fans will be able to visit the Death Star whenever they are in town!
But this is not a sure thing yet. The Lucas Cultural Arts Museum is one of three finalists for the site, so we need to voice our support now to make it a reality! Go to the Presidio Trust’s website and make a comment in favor of LCAM! http://www.presidio.gov/about/Pages/commissary-proposals.aspx
You don’t need to write a paragraph (unless you’d like to ). Even something as small as a sentence will do a world of good. In doing so, you are helping to ensure a future for the museum and a place where not only the artifacts we love will be ready to educate the next generation of Star Wars fans, but also thousands of original art by the great masters of illustration, comic book design, fashion, cinematography and of course, digital art!
