Save The Ysalamiri Sockpuppets

Description

Save The Ysalamiri — sockpuppets for the arts and crafts portion of the Get Thrawn In Campaign of 2014-2016.

For the involvement of children who are fans of Star Wars, bring Grand Admiral Thrawn, a character of Timothy Zahn, for Lucasfilm in 1991 in the book Heir to the Empire.

Since then, Disney Lucasfilm Star Wars have profited from Thrawn in Star Wars.

But in 2014, very few fans knew who Grand Admiral Thrawn was, and a few fans with Dr. G- at the helm of SWAG77 launched the campaign to ask Disney, “what did they think about ART?”

To involve children, SWAG77 felt it is good for them to have an arts and crafts project. What was created was SAVE THE YSALAMIRI to mimic the “Save The Whales” non-profit and educate children about wildlife through art.
